The plantation dates to 1803 when the first Mr. Morris moved to the area and purchased several thousand acres through a Spanish Land Grant. The current home was built around 1903 by the grandson of the original Mr. Morris. We purchased the home at the end of 2007, moving in on Christmas weekend.
